Although it is difficult to determine  the productivity in banking but it is possible to calculate and important too. Using the following formulas to calculate the productivity in banking

1. Growth Rate of Deposit (GRP): Growth trends in total deposits and different types of deposits

  • Deposits per Branch = Total Deposit of the Bank ÷ Number of Branch Offices
  • Deposits per Account= Total Bank Deposit ÷ Total Number of Deposit Accounts
  • Ratio between term Deposit and non-term Deposit= Total Deposit÷Total non-term Deposit
  • Deposit Credit Ration= Total Deposit ÷ Total Credit
  • Deposit population Ratio= Total Deposit of the Bank/Branch ÷ Population of the Area Concerned
  • Deposit Employee Ratio= Total Deposit ÷ Total Number of Employees
  • Deposit capital Ratio= Total Deposit ÷ Total Equity Capital of the Bank
  • Deposit net worth Ratio= Total Deposit ÷ Net Worth of the Bank
